Project Summary
During the owners time in handmade clay tiles, some 45 years in total, the tile vogue changes and you have to adapt with the times. Our latest couple of offerings to the market place, have been made with different areas in mind. So the Berkshire, started life as the Bedgebury and the Bardfield, but when local Berkshire man Darren Naish became involved the tile as we now know it was born.
In the Berkshire town of Crowthorne our first project was completed following a meeting with Mike at Lifestiles and the owner of the land during an exhibition at the NEC Homebuilding and renovating show. Sample and panels were approved by planners and the new family home was constructed using 24k Lifestiles new Berkshire mix handmade roof tiles.
The finished project a timber frame build with cart lodges and low level storage buildings looks fantastic and the Berkshire tile is now being used in the surrounding counties as well.
