Project Summary
Shanly Homes had purchased the old building and land know as Roxburgh Place in Bickley, Kent. The land had gained permission to build exclusive designer 5/6 bedroom houses, but Shanly enlisted Phil Ellis of Coleman’s to help with the older state building.
The lodge house was to be remodelled and renovated into luxury flats but the exterior had to remain in keeping with its old tradition and style. Over 40k Lifestiles handmade heather tiles were chosen by the local authorities to re-roof this lovely old Victorian property.
The building is now fully reworking with all the flats sold within months of the their overhaul. The building stands majestically next to its new build designer houses with another lifetime of use ahead of it.
