Multi
Handmade Clay TilesThe Multi is based on the reds, heathers and a few dark and orange tiles, but the key to our flagship colour blend is the natural variations caused by traditional firing methods ensuring no two tiles are the same colour or shape and the shades merge into each other, thus avoiding that contrived look, often seen when single colour tiles are mixed on site. At Lifestiles we only want you to have the roof you require. This means that you can edit your “multi mix” to suit your personal taste. The second feature here shows the multi tile but with the orange taken out, this is labelled Ascot. So if you like the concept of the multi mix but have a specific idea please simply contact one of my team and we can make your own bespoke roof, all of which will be pre-mixed at the factory especially for you. Autumn
Handcrafted Clay TilesSubtle autumnal shades with varying cambers in length and width result in a textured roofscape with a weathered appearance and matt un-sanded finish. The Ashvale clay roof tile is one of the few hand-crafted tiles available on the market today that still involves hand forming and is not entirely manufactured on a machine. The Ashvale offers individuality in appearance and with the various colours and mixes a beauty over your roof scope. Its timeless nature and lasting quality mean the Ashvale clay roof tiles are an ideal solution for any roofing project. Our team of experts is on hand to offer you advice and provide any information you may require. We can give detailed technical guidance and/or general roofing advice over the telephone, by email or during a site visit to suit you individual needs. Designed and produced to give the appearance of an old weathered tile, the Ashvale range look equally at home on renovation or new build projects. The Ashvale® roof tiles are produced in Sri Lanka in a modern facility. (The factory is ISO 9001:2008 certificated). The tiles are manufactured by mechanically extruding the wet clay into a ribbon and then forming the tile by hand. Then during humidity controlled drying a varying cross camber is created in the tile which recreates the texture and imprecision found only on roofs of a bygone era by ensuring no two tiles can be the same shape. They are then fired in modern gas tunnel kilns and packaged in wooden crates ready for shipment. The fittings are formed entirely by hand and then dried and fired in the same manner as the tiles. The tiles are tested in our on-site laboratory throughout their production ensuring they meet the rigorous standards required to meet the relevant British and European Standards. They are then independently tested in the UK (see our technical page for test reports and guarantees) thus meeting all the CE and European standards. Aged
Natural Stone TilesAt Lifestiles we have taken the limestone and aged the stone in order to achieve a "reclaim" or aged look. These aged stones come in two thicknesses and again are available in all the sizes from 6” through to 24” in order to complement the special look that can only be found in the Cotswold’s. Each slate is painstakingly worked with the specially developed natural pigments thus giving the perfect appearance of the scarce, sacred and expensive second hand and salvaged stone slates. Pantiles

Glazed
Clay PantilesThanks to the unique way that Lifestiles and our factories work together, the colours of our Ashvale Glazed tile can be selected by the homeowner, developer or designer. These Glazed pantiles can be produced in a broad spectrum of colours to suit any pallet or landscape. From ocean blue that is popular in Poole Harbour, to the grass green that adorns the stables and equestrian centre at Newmarket, and from the brilliant black glazed tiles used on pubs on the Norfolk coast to Wimbledon School’s traditional terracotta, the choice is yours. The tiles are twice fired to ensure that the colours are infused into the tile. These handcrafted tiles are formed in the same way as our Red and Restoration tiles, and they are then dried and fired, glazed and fired again thus producing this unique roof tile. The glazing can be produced to match any existing colour or particular colour required for your project. Restoration
Clay PantilesThe Ashvale restoration clay pantile has a dusting pigment applied to the tile when the formed tile is in its "green" state, before drying and firing. This dusting effect is hand applied and this means that no two tiles are the same in colour. The Ashvale Restoration clay pantile has a dusting pigment applied to the tile when the formed tile is in its “green” state, before drying and firing. This dusting effect is hand applied and this means that no two tiles are the same in colour. This weathered appearance is very popular when trying to produce an aged appearance. Due to the fact we apply the dust before the kilns introduction means the weathered look is fired into the tiles surface. Like the Red and Glazed pantiles the appearance is created by man power but still retains all the advantages associated with the machine made counterparts, which is essential for the roofing market and our inclement UK weather. Red
Clay PantilesThe Ashvale clay pantile we think is the only hand-crafted pantile available on the market today. It still involves hand finishing and is not entirely manufactured on a machine. Its timeless nature and lasting quality mean the Ashvale clay pantiles are an ideal solution for new build, renovation or restoration projects and our variety of carefully selected blends makes it the perfect choice.
